Join 4-H as a Cloverbud
What Are Cloverbuds
Youth who are five through seven years of age on or before December 31st of the 4-H year may enroll in 4-H as a Cloverbud.
How to Join
The first step in becoming a 4-H Cloverbud is to choose a club that is right for you. Contact a local 4-H Club Leader to see if there is room in an existing club near you. If not, several young people with an adult or two to help them may start a new club.
For a list of clubs organized in Adams County please see our current Club Guide & Information Page.
Many clubs offer Cloverbud activities, ask your club leader what activities they have planned for the upcoming 4-H enrollment year. Leaders have materials that are available through State 4-H office, the material can be used in a manner which best suits their club setting. Leaders may also choose other material available through the Adams County Extension agent.
Enrolling your child with the 4-H Office in Adams County completes the membership process. The 4-H program is offered at a very nominal annual fee by Colorado State University Extension in Adams County. Cloverbuds may enroll at any point during the 4-H year.
