Join 4-H in Adams County

4-H is an informal youth education program of Colorado State University Extension. The mission of 4-H is to help children grow into healthy, productive, successful adults. This mission is accomplished through involvement of parents, volunteer leaders, and other adults who organize and conduct educational experiences in community and family settings.

The 4-H Club

Adams County 4-H is based on a club system. This means that when you join 4-H in Adams County you are joining one of our 4-H clubs. Clubs are made up of youth (4-H members) and adults, who serve as leaders. Clubs usually meet on a monthly basis, but some meet twice a month. The club is an opportunity for you to meet other 4-H members. When choosing a 4-H club it is important to make sure that the club meets the needs of your family — in terms of the day and time of the meetings, the club atmosphere, club requirements, etc. You want to make sure the club is a great fit for your family and that you feel welcome.
